Deputy president William Ruto yesterday met with Trans Nzoia County Governor Patrick Khaemba at his Karren Residence on what it could be interpreted by many as a strategy to winning the vote rich county as he gears towards his 2022 presidential ambition. Ruto on a Facebook post, termed the meeting as a discussion on the development partnership between the national Government and the county in an effort to ensuring better services to the people, attract investors and advance the local Economy.This is what he posted on his Facebook page;
"Held discussion with Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba on the issuance of title deeds to residents, relocating some Government facilities to pave way for the expansion of Kitale town and improving of the health infrastructure.
